After his grandmother passes away, thirteen-year-old Jason is sent to Florida to join his father and help him clean out her house. With the help of his new friend Dia, Jason eventually unlocks family secrets. Most importantly, he uncovers the truth about his grandfather, a man his father never knew. The Postcard is Holes meets Chasing Vermeer, with elements from the movie Big Fish thrown in.
