Lasse Hallström directs this adaptation of John Irving's bestselling novel starring Tobey Maguire, Charlize Theron and Michael Caine. Homer Wells (Maguire) is an orphan who has been at the same orphanage all his life, under the tutorage of Dr Wilbur Larch (Caine).
