Riz Ahmed stars as the eponymous character in this reimagining of Shakespeare's tragedy set in modern London. Soon after the death of his father, Hamlet's world is turned upside down when his mother Gertrude (Sheeba Chaddha) marries his uncle Claudius (Art Malik). As he grieves and gathers evidence against Claudius for orchestrating the murder of his father, Hamlet becomes increasingly unstable as he is consumed by his anger and desire for revenge.
