This book is meant to be a romantic comedy. It was only way of expressing myself when my voice felt silenced. I'm speaking out now loud and clear. I hope my fictional story makes you feel heard and seen.
Summary:
Ayla isn't the type to cover up how she's feeling. In fact, she's been known to be an open book easily read by her friends and family. Navigating through high school may be the toughest challenge yet, and let's be real. High school is hard. She faces challenges such as grief, love, trauma and even getting her heart broken a few times. She still struggles to see how God will use her even after all she's been through. It's extremely hard when society wants to label Ayla as a victim. With graduation around the corner, she's torn between staying close to home or seizing an opportunity to start over. Will she choose to believe that God has a bigger plan for her life than she thought? Or will the desires of her heart led her astray?
