This book is intended to effectively address the main issues of today's Internet, including security, inflexibility, and mobility problems, and provides a revolutionary approach to the Internet. At the heart of this book are the theories and mechanisms of Smart collaborative Identifier NETwork (SINET), which is a promising design for the future Internet. In this book, important insights into the SINET are organized in three parts. In Part I, particular attentions are given to basic principles and theories of SINET. In Part II, network-related technologies are then explored, including mobility management, multipath transmission, service discovery and resource management and security solutions, etc. Besides, applications and development are presented in Part III, including the SINET testbed, transition schemes, key equipment, applications and future directions.
