The book of Revelation becomes more relevant every day, yet many avoid its pages due to the cryptic content. Being the only book of the Bible that promises a blessing to the one who reads and understands the message, one can surmise that the Author meant for the text to be grasped. Revelation sets itself apart by being a military scenario for the final redemption of the earth. Since it is a tactical and strategic plan, God saw fit to code it with idioms and synoptic phrases that will lead the reader to discover detail through events and prophesies found in the Old Testament. Like the parables, these coded messages were designed to blind the scoffer, yet enlighten the seeker. The Sand Table examines each verse of Revelation, then presents the content with simple explanations and references. It also explores the use of new technology to be wielded by political and global powers moving toward world conquest. In all their stratagem, God has a few maneuvers of His own.
