Reverend Thomas Jarrett hadn't always been a priest. In fact, he'd spent most of his life as a gunfighter, and his reputation has spread wide as a man never to cross. Rue Lewis wasn't the church-going type. Far from it, as her own past made the average Christian look at her with judgement and disgust. But her sister had needed her. Recently widowed, her sister Josie was alone with her children trying to make a fresh start in the West, and Rue couldn't let her face such a challenge alone.
