This book is about the New Religious Movements, which emerged not only in Africa, but also in the whole world. It profiles some of the New Religious Movements phenomena through the scholars' debates and surveys them to give an overarching picture about the development of the New Religious Movements. In this regard, the book has taken a scholarly approach in bringing this subject across to both readers and students of Bible Schools and Theological Colleges. The book carefully examines the dawn of New Religious Movements as ushering in a new era that marked the end of Established Missiological strategy that dominated the mission front. It does this by primarily focusing on the developments of New Religious Movements into religions that broke away from the mainline churches that brought Christianity to the world and Africa in particular.
