A star shimmers over a Bethlehem stable inviting three wise Magi to enter the stable and visit a newborn king swaddled and sleeping in an animal feeding manger. An oracle had earlier prophesized that the Star over Bethlehem would reemerge in the year 2080. After the Magi's brief visit, they agree there is something special about the child in the manger. One of the wise men sleeping in his covered wagon outside the stable suffers a threatening nightmare. The three Magi alert the infant's family inside the stable to flee before their child is murdered. The family flees to Egypt.
After residing in Egypt for several years, the family safely returns to their home in Nazareth. The young man become an apprentice carpenter in his father's shop. He pursues his carpentry work, but his mother looks to expose him to music. She accidentally meets Mary Magdalene, a music teacher, who enrolls the young carpenter in her music class. Mary Magdalene provides motivation and assistance in building his musical skills.
One day, the wise Magi arrive in Nazareth to deliver a cherished gift, the animal feeding manger from the Bethlehem stable. The carpenter now a viola music student converts part of the wooden manger into a new musical instrument. Mary Magdalene arranges for Jubal, a woodworker, to help her student build his new instrument.
Mary Magdalene soon begins to orchestrate a religious ministry for the carpenter and his followers. The biblical birth of Christianity emerges and continues without interruption for centuries.
In the year 2080 centuries later, astronomers await the Star over Bethlehem to manifest itself and shimmer once again over the village.
The year 2080 arrives. Biblical scholars believe 2080 is a year of rebirth, a reflection of that magnificent birth centuries ago in that Bethlehem stable.
That sacred and solemn biblical spirit that remained hidden for centuries reemerges. An ancient remembrance introduces a modern emergence.
