Prayer, a passion for life, and the wisdom of her grandmother guide Carla Louise Jones. She gets a lesson in navigating life and relationships with two very different men from her family and some well-intended friends. She lets her guard down and finds herself in a relationship with the rugged and charismatic Jerome Banks who treats her like a queen.
