Derrick Hughes is determined to make a name for himself in the corporate world with his company. He has the potential to have a very Merry Christmas thanks to a significant merger. A few weeks before Christmas, his personal assistant forgets to pick up a Christmas card for Derrick's brother, forcing Derrick to go to the store himself. He arrives just before closing time and rushes inside, only to get stuck in the doorway facing a woman
As they struggle to free themselves, they are informed that they're standing under the mistletoe. This prompts an argument about Derrick's lack of Christmas spirit. Suddenly, the woman kisses Derrick forcefully, leaving him stunned. He attempts to apologize for his earlier behavior, but the woman grabs her package and quickly leaves, leaving Derrick completely bewildered. Realizing that he can't get the kiss out of his mind, Derrick decides to set out in search of the mystery woman who stole his heart under the mistletoe.
