With support from Kimika, Mrs. Morgan, and the Lyons family, Kalynn learns that big problems are solved in pieces. One recycled bottle. One cleaner playground. One community that decides to care.
Soon, the sisters launch Operation Earth Shield, a neighborhood clean-up project at Maplewood Park. Kimika designs the flyers, Kalynn rallies the team, and their family helps turn concern into action. But when plans get messy, the weather looks uncertain, and Kalynn worries no one will show up, she discovers that leadership is not about everything going perfectly. It is about showing up anyway.
On Clean & Green Day, the community comes together to pick up trash, sort recycling, and protect the park they all share. When Kalynn helps free a bird trapped in plastic, the lesson becomes real: caring for the Earth is not just about land, water, and trees. It is about protecting life.
