This book offers valuable information on specific cases of heat exchangers. The selection was directed by seeking future prospects of applied research and industry, particularly aiming on the effective use and conversion energy in shifting environment. Beside the questions of thermodynamic basics, the book also presents various critical topics, such as operations, conceptions, design, fouling and cleaning of heat exchangers. It also addresses utilization and storage of thermal energy and geothermal energy, directly or by function of heat pumps.
