The Purpose of this book is to present the science of the practice of Ground Water Hydrology in a concise form comprising practically all the modern developments. The book, written entirely in Metric Units covers the syllabi of Indian Universities and A.M.I.E. Examination in Ground water Hydrology. The approach to the subject has been practical thought. Indications are given to the most efficient way in which the work could be undertaken, without neglecting the basic principles involved. The author gratefully acknowledge the help received from many standard text books and publications on Ground Water Hydrology.Every effort was made to eliminate errors in the text book, but should the reader discover some, we would appreciate having these brought to our attention.
