Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML) is a cancer of the bodys cells. My husband of almost 20 years lost his battle with CML in 1998. This is my personal journal. It began when my husband was admitted to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Originally, the journal was my way of letting him know what was happening each day at home. What was later learned was that my journal gave me strength each day and as the years passed it became my way to remember events that were just a blur. I published my journal as a gift to my children in memory of their father and as a recollection for them of their own trying times. Hopefully those who read this will learn from my experiences and maybe gain strength with their own words.
