Pełny opis

On Saturday evening, as Willem Upjon, a Watusi tribesman turned businessman, drives to "The Haystack", a disco he partly owns in the Philadelphia area, a man with a submachine gun creates death and devastation in that club.
Later, in his rented room, Bruce, the gunman, receives vocal praise from "God"/(= Herb) for his good work.
On Monday, Upjon gets a mailed ransom note: a million dollars to prevent further attacks. He is to told a signal to send.
He does that, gets no prompt reply, and waits for a new contact.
On Friday, God/ Herb talks to Bruce and tells him to attack "Starland", a second disco owned by the same people.
Bruce shoots up the place and escapes in the panic. Upjon sees him flee and follows him to an empty building where he must take evasive action as Bruce shoots at him.
Saturday II, the news media are playing up the terrorist aspects of the attacks. And questioning the clubs' security systems.
Upjon consults a psychic who gives him a strange clue that she freely admits even she does not understand. God in a wire.
On Monday II, a second ransom letter arrives. It tell Upjon to contact the person through a P.O. box in the suburbs.
Saturday III, Upjon baits the gunman in TV interviews with derogatory comments about his mentality and sexual prowess.
Bruce attacks Upjon and his girlfriend, then is chased through the Independence Mall area.
On Monday, Upjon and others chase Bruce in his car up the East River Drive and into Fairmount Park, but they lose him.
On Tuesday III God calls Bruce on the phone rather than talks to him out of nowhere as before which unsettles Bruce.
On Wednesday III, Herb collects the ransom but is caught and tells all he has done. The clue from the psychic now makes sense.
On Thursday III, "The Dark Continent" disco club opens. Bruce sneaks in, corners Upjon and the attacks on discos reach a newly personal level.
