We love and care on a variety of levels. Sometimes it is as simple as feeling empathy for someone, while other times the feelings maybe, so strong that they engulf our very ability to breathe normal. It is those times we pine for. That type of love we yearn for, search for, and grief for when it is gone. The ultimate type of true love that makes us believe that there is something bigger than us in the universe. That is the type of rare love that seems to happen only once in a lifetime. All our choices, although often subconsciously made, are in some way related to finding that love. Jealousy, greed, and arrogance seep in tainting our way and creating regrets, points in your life that we view as crossroads. Each of us are eternally doomed to wonder what might have been if we had chosen differently at those crossroads. But like the burned bridges we relate ruined relationships to, it is impossible to rewind our lives to the roads we passed by. Life is a one-way street.
