The Great Migration marks the moment dragonkind is forced out of its ancestral stability and into the first major upheaval of their history. A sudden climate shift collapses prey routes, dries river systems, and destabilizes the volcanic plains the early dragons once relied on. With starvation looming, the scattered population has no choice but to abandon their long‑held nesting grounds and take to the skies in search of safer territory.
What begins as a reluctant relocation quickly becomes a defining event. As the dragons travel across unfamiliar landscapes, differences in behavior, hunting style, and survival instinct begin to surface. Some groups grow aggressive and territorial; others adapt through cooperation and endurance. Tensions rise as resources dwindle, and the once‑unified population starts to fracture.
By the time the migration ends, the seeds of four distinct broods have taken root - each shaped by the hardships of the journey and the choices made along the way.
