This paper discusses inability of the human mind to comprehend and predict the environment of accelerating change in the year 2035. It explores the current state of research in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Enhanced Human Intelligence as means of overcoming the limits of natural human cognition. The paper concludes that assisted cognition will be required and cognitive technologies will be available in 2035, but this requires cultivation to ensure applicability in the Air Force.
