A desperate government clings to power; following international condemnation and a newly-independent Scotland, they are building "People's Palaces" all over England to make it seem that the country still has strength. But the civil engineering consortia tasked to build these palaces are now so suspicious of the government that they will only accept payment in Gold.
Against this background, Rosa Pleck and Ken Prime of the "Cinema Detectives" are roped in by the police to support the delivery of the latest gold shipment to pay for the new Birmingham "People's Palace".
The day of the gold delivery arrives. The plane carrying the gold touches down...

ROSA PLECK is a native daughter of Birmingham, UK. She joined "Prime Services", also known as the "Cinema Detectives" agency, straight out of school.
KEN PRIME used to be a typical West Midlands businessman, but since he quit sales and took up detecting, his life has taken a crazier turn.
WHY "CINEMA DETECTIVES"?
