As Peter exhorted the suffering Christians in the Greco-Roman world not to suffer as a result of wrongdoing, but only as Christians, especially in light of the impending judgment on all humanity, believers today ought to embrace the same call, by trusting God, who is faithful, and continue to do good, amidst the depth of their suffering. God is faithful to keep His saints safe in trials that come their way because of their faith in Christ.
