What makes this issue different from the previous ones themed on fonts is that we would very much like to dig deep into one single typeface family. And we finally decided to focus our eyes on boldface and sans-serifs which are obviously most often used in our life. Some say they look serious, staid and official and some see the romantic aspect in them with strokes of different thicknesses. Boldface is a significant typeface. As the tightness degree of the central part of a character differs, its visual perception varies. The tighter the central part of a character is, the smaller the character surface appears, and vice versa. Therefore, there is a wide range of variations in these square blocks with strokes of the same thickness.
