Stephan G. Stephansson was an Icelandic poet who emigrated to Canada in the late 19th century. "Andvökur" ("Sleepless Nights") is a collection of his poetry, published in four volumes between 1909-1921. Known for his passionate lyricism and melancholic tone, Stephansson's poetry explores the beauty of nature and the struggles of rural life. This is the fourth volume in the series, and is recommended for lovers of Nordic and Canadian poetry.
