Aldous Huxley Annual is the official organ of the Aldous Huxley Society at the Centre for Aldous Huxley Studies in Münster, Germany (see AHS homepage at ). It publishes essays on the life, times, and interests of Aldous Huxley and his circle. It aspires to be the sort of periodical that Huxley would have wanted to read and to which he might have contributed.§Aldous Huxley Annual celebrates its tenth anniversary with a special double number. Chief contributor on this momentous occasion is Aldous Huxley himself. Volume 10/11 contains a treasure trove of new Huxley items-letters, poems, stories, talks, proposals, introductions, playlets-all arranged in chronological order. Contributions date from 1916 and run through 1963, the year of Huxley's death. In short, a special anniversary number that is truly special. Moreover, Huxley can for the first time be presented as an accomplished painter: the Editors are proud to have procured reproductions of five Huxley paintings owned by his grandchildren Teresa and Mark Trevenen Huxley.
