Northampton County was created in 1752 from Bucks County. It is situated in the eastern most region of the state along the Delaware river, just across the border from Warren and Sussex Counties New Jersey. It is the parent county in whole or part to: Cabon, Lehigh, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill and Wayne counties. This book is filled with data that might help that researcher with famly connections in eastern Pennsylvania.
