What The Heck is Prayer Anyway?

I was a born again, Spirit-filled, tongue-talking Christian for more than 20 years, but one day I said to God, "What the heck is prayer anyway?" After I got off the phone with my mother who always asked me, "'Did you pray today?" All I knew about prayer... it was talking to God: God help me, help so and so and do this for me and do that for me
pretty shallow requests. I did not know about intimacy with God, I didn't know I could get close to Him, and that He would get close to me and wanted to get close to me. I didn't know that there were levels of prayer. So, after I said that to God
" What the heck is prayer anyway?" - my life turned upside down and thus began my journey of obedience, surrender and encountering God. This is my story. You can have as much of God as you want
you can get as close to Him as you want. How much do you want Him? He is seeking hungry hearts after Him. I am no one special, but I had a hungry heart and a heart to know God more. I went after Him, and you can too! I hope your challenged to seek Him more after you read my story!
