DisCovering Self Value

So often we make references to the self, such as high or low self-esteem, self-worth or to thine own self be true. I wonder however if there is a clear understanding as to what is being referred - what is actually meant when the words are uttered?

It's my position that most are unaware as it relates to the true meaning of self, and it's for this purpose that I've written DisCovering Self Value. Within, I illuminate what the self actually is, how it's developed and the extent to which it impacts one's life throughout the lifecycle. I serve as a guide, navigating Dr. John Bowlby's attachment theory as well Dr. Ainsworth's secure and insecure attachment styles. I explain the role early recollections and caregivers play in the development of self.

Finally, I discuss ways in which corrective emotional experiences can be had, as well as the science behind one's intrinsic value!
