Planet of Death: Artic Computing's Adventure A

Planet of Death is an adventure that YOU control, in the best traditions of 'interactive fiction'. The story within is controlled by the reader, participating as the main protagonist and deciding which of many branching paths to take. Your ultimate goal is to choose your own path and make it to the end of the adventure, escaping from the Planet of Death.

This book is based on the computer game Adventure A: Planet of Death, an extremely popular title published by Artic during the early days of home computing.

Though subsequent books in this series have more detailed plots, battles with enemies, tricky puzzles to solve and other such refinements, Adventure A is important because this is where it all started
an entire genre of computer gaming can be traced back to Artic's efforts, alongside a few other highly influential titles.
